Some companies and larger teams like to boast about their “marketing” skills. I hate to break it to the average consumer, but most agents and teams offer basically the same marketing. We all have access to the same MLS, and with technology the way that it is, that means your listing will be on every public website within 24 hours of being listed. Some will take it a step further, and post your home on all the social media outlets, print off custom flyers and deliver to your neighborhood, host an open house and email their entire database with a link to a solo website featuring only your listing. MOST do this,I know we do; but here is the thing, we do this mostly to market ourselves, to show prospective buyers and sellers that we are relative and active in their market. So when interviewing agents or teams, this is something to keep in mind, especially if “marketing” is their strongest sales point.
